How to Machine 2D files from Vector Color using TYPE EDIT ?

Several file formats imported in TYPE EDIT keep their color attributes. The colors can be then used in the Color For Cam feature.

It is possible to sort a machining job through a color or a series of color selection of a vector files. DXF for instance provide a color code that can directly be read by TYPE CAD and assist the Color For CAM features to generate one or several strategies to optimize the cutting of pieces even after a nesting operation. Colors for machining can be assigned manually with all the specifications needed such as tool shape, spindle speed, feed rates and kept as a unique strategy that can then be re-applied unlimitedly on further machining files. One of the best way to eradicate human errors and optimize the sorting of the parts, expecially when those are numerous.
