How to download and install TYPE EDIT / LASER TYPE

 This topic explains how to download and install TYPE EDIT / LASER TYPE .

Before you start installing the software, make sure that:

  • Your computer meet the minimum system requirements listed here.
  • Your Windows OS is up to date.
  • You have logged in to your computer as an Administrator or/and have administrative rights.
  • You have a current internet connection.

Download TYPE EDIT / LASER TYPE

  1. Go to the Download TYPEEDIT/LASERTYPE page
  2. Please enter your complete information and click on the “Send” button at the bottom of the form.      

  3. A new page will then load (please allow a few seconds). You can check your email to retrieve the URL as well . Click on “Download Now!“.
  4.  Click then the button that says “I agree” if required and click the “Download” button to start to download the application.

  5. Depending on your browser:
    • The installer file downloads automatically; or
    • You are asked to save the file. If prompted, just click “Save file”.
  6. With your browser open, press  to open the download viewer.
  7. Click on the “Show in Folder” link to open the folder where the downloads are being saved.
  8. Right-click on the downloaded archive file and select Extract All… from the context-sensitive menu that displays.
  9. The Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders dialog displays. Click Extract to begin the extraction process to your preferred location on your local drive.
  10. A progress dialog displays as the contents of the archive are extracted, and closed once the extraction process is fully complete.

Installation TYPE EDIT / LASER TYPE

  1. Open the folder that the image was extracted to .
  2. Right-click “Setup.exe” and choose “Run as Administrator”.
  3. Click “Yes” if the Windows 11 User Account Control prompt is being displayed.
  4. Once the installation setup window opens, select “Accept and continue”.
  5. Follow then the installation wizard by clicking the “Next” button.
  6. Once the installation process has completed, plug the dongle and start enjoying your installation of TYPE EDIT / LASER TYPE .
